A-vitamiini ehk retinooli on v\u00f5imalik toidust k\u00e4tte saada kahel viisil. Seda on v\u00f5imalik saada loomset p\u00e4ritolu toitudest n-\u00f6 puhtal kujul nagu n\u00e4iteks veise- ja kanamaksast, t\u00e4ispiimast ja juustust v\u00f5i taimset p\u00e4ritolu toiduainetes leiduvatest v\u00e4rvipigmentidest. Selleks sobivad h\u00e4sti porgand, bataat, spinat ja lehtkapsas.<\/p>\n

A-vitamiini on meie organismis vaja mitmete erinevate funktsioonide jaoks. N\u00e4iteks keha kasvu ja arengu tagamiseks, tervete luude jaoks, immuuns\u00fcsteemi t\u00f6\u00f6s hoidmiseks ja heaks silman\u00e4gemiseks. See aitab silmadel pimedas kohaneda ning selle puudus v\u00f5ib p\u00f5hjustada kanapimedust ehk h\u00e4maras ja pimedas n\u00e4gemise h\u00e4ireid, silmade kuivust ja sarvkesta pehmenemist.<\/p>\n

A-vitamiin m\u00e4ngib olulist rolli ka maakuli degeneratsiooni<\/a><\/strong> ennetamises, mis on levinud silmahaigus ning peamiseks n\u00e4gemiskao p\u00f5hjuseks eakate hulgas. \u00dchtlasi aitab A-vitamiin ennetada ja ravida kuiva silma s\u00fcndroomi.<\/p>\n

Millised muud vitamiinid aitavad kollat\u00e4hni degeneratsiooni \u00e4ra hoida?<\/h1>\n

Lisaks A-vitamiinile aitab maakuli degeneratsiooni \u00e4ra hoida ka C- ja E-vitamiin. C-vitamiin aitab kehal moodustada ja s\u00e4ilitada sidekudesid, nagu kollageen, mida leidub silma sarvkesta sees. C-vitamiin vastutab ka tervete veresoonte, sealhulgas v\u00f5rkkesta sees olevate veresoonte eest. Kuna keha ei suuda toota ise C-vitamiini, peab seda hankima l\u00e4bi toidu. Headeks C-vitamiini allikateks on punane paprika, maasikad, apelsinimahl, spargelkapsas ja roheline paprika. C-vitamiini leidub ka tsitrustes, kartulites, tomatites ja rohelistes k\u00f6\u00f6giviljades.<\/p>\n

E-vitamiin aitab hoida erinevate rakkude membraane vormis, et need saaksid kaitsta keha vabade radikaalide p\u00f5hjustatud kahjustuste eest.<\/p>\n

A-vitamiin toidulisandina<\/h1>\n

Siiski ei ole soovitatav tarbida A-vitamiini toidulisandina, vaid hankida seda naturaalsel teel ehk toidust. Peamiselt seet\u00f5ttu, et rasvlahustuvate vitamiinide (sh vitamiin A) puhul toimub \u00fcleliigsete vitamiinide v\u00e4ljutamine organismist tunduvalt aeglasemalt kui vesilahustuvate puhul. Seep\u00e4rast v\u00f5ib A-vitamiini liigsel tarbimisel kuhjuda kehas ka liigne kogus vitamiine. Toidu kaudu ammutatud A-vitamiini ei ole v\u00f5imalik tarbida organismile kahjustavas koguses. Liigne A-vitamiini tarbimine v\u00f5ib muuta luud \u00f5rnaks ning kahjustada maksa.<\/p>\n

A-, C- ja E-vitamiin aitavad aeglustada maakuli degeneratsiooni ja aitavad s\u00e4ilitada probleemideta n\u00e4gemist nii kaua kui v\u00f5imalik. Seet\u00f5ttu on oluline p\u00f6\u00f6rata t\u00e4helepanu enda toitumisele, sest just nii saad k\u00f5ige tervislikumal viisil omastada toidust vitamiine.<\/p>\n
